… and now Miguel leaves the shore of identity in order to swims through dark waters of memory with the hopes of renewal. 90s era rap vocals over dusty drum loops and basslines, and now Miguel blends rhythms with meditative lyrics. This five track EP is a journey of self-reclamation, told through hypnotic rhythms and reflective wordplay. Created during late nights in Los Angeles, this EP captures the moments in the middle of retreating to retrieve what was forgotten and finding the creative force to piece stories a new.
